Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Silvertown Events website and ticketing platform at silvertown.events (the "Platform"), operated by Silvertown Events ("we", "us", "our"). By browsing the Platform, creating an account, or purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who we are

Silvertown Events is an online ticketing and registration platform for events in Malaysia. Depending on the event, we may act as the organiser or as an authorised ticketing agent on behalf of a third-party organiser. Where we act as agent, the organiser is responsible for the event itself, and the contract for attendance is between you and that organiser.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to purchase tickets.
• You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure and for all activity carried out through it.
• You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when registering or purchasing, and to keep it up to date.

3. Tickets, orders & pricing

• All prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Additional charges (for example service or processing fees, or a registration fee set by the organiser) may apply and will be shown in your order summary before payment.
• An order is confirmed only once payment is successfully received. We may cancel or refuse an order where a pricing error, suspected fraud, or ticket unavailability occurs.
• Your e-ticket contains a unique QR code and ticket reference. Each ticket admits one person once. Do not share, copy, or resell your ticket — the first valid scan is accepted and any later scan of the same ticket will be refused.

4. Entry, check-in & attendee information

Admission is subject to the organiser's conditions and any venue rules. You may be required to present your e-ticket QR code and, where requested, identification matching the registration. The organiser may collect seat, bib, or attendee details at check-in. Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry for safety reasons or for breach of these Terms.

5. Changes, cancellation & refunds

Events may be rescheduled, relocated, or cancelled. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it before purchasing.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.
• Do not resell tickets for profit or use automated means to buy tickets in bulk.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform, its design, logos and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Event names, logos and images belong to their respective organisers. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

8. Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, we are not liable for the conduct of an event or organiser where we act only as agent, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order.

9. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
